Chris currently works as a District Manager within Early Help & Prevention in the largest local authority in Europe and has over 10yrs experience working frontline in Children’s Social Care. Chris has supported the ongoing implementation of Trauma-Informed Practice in a strategic capacity within his organisation and continues upskilling and developing frontline practitioners as an accredited Practice Supervisor. Chris is currently the DA and PAACE Programme Lead for his organisation; co-ordinating practitioners in their delivery of Rock Pool’s Recovery Toolkits.
Chris is RESPECT trained and facilitates several evidence-based programmes for families. Chris holds an Award in Education and Training (AET) and is an accredited practitioner in Motivational Interviewing and Restorative Practice.
Chris‘ academic background is in Psychology with a specialism in Child Development. Chris has previous experience working in Schools, Children’s Centres and the Voluntary/Community Sector.
Chris loves a bit of IT and Technology and can always be found with a new gadget or gizmo, especially if it can help make his life a little easier!
