Cindy has Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status, National Nursery Examination Board, Level 4 (working with complex families) and a SafeLives Service Managers Award. She worked with children and families and saw first-hand the impact domestic abuse, trauma and adversity had on families and children. She worked for SureStart, NHS, Children’s Services and Education since qualifying in 1988 and in Domestic Abuse services since 2007 including 5 years managing both Victim and Perpetrator Services across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
Cindy currently delivers training and consultancy to agencies wishing to improve their response to Domestic Abuse.
Cindy is about to embark on her Masters in Understanding Domestic and Sexual Violence and is interested to see where the learning takes her when considering her dissertation subject.
Cindy loves spending time with family and her cockapoo Lola as well as keeping healthy by running and the gym.
