Katie Bielec

Rock Pool Associate

Katie has 20 years of experience in the domestic abuse and stalking arena, including three years as a Domestic Homicide and Safeguarding Adult Review Chair. She collaborates with agencies to review their interactions with individuals and families, highlighting effective practices and identifying lessons to prevent future tragedies. Her roles have included working directly with those impacted by abuse, serving as an accredited IDVA and manager, and facilitating victim and perpetrator programs.

With a decade of training experience, Katie has educated frontline workers and students through partnerships with Bournemouth University, local authorities, and police forces. She is passionate about early intervention and is a member of the Wessex CPS VAWG and Modern-Day Slavery Scrutiny Panel. Additionally, she serves as a trustee for a charity focused on vulnerable individuals and is the safeguarding lead at her local rugby club. Outside of work, Katie enjoys running and caring for her garden roses.
