Luke Kendall

Rock Pool Associate

Luke is a domestic abuse consultant, independent Domestic Homicide Review Chair and has published research on the prevalence of suicide within domestic abuse perpetrator cohorts. His experience spans working as an accredited Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocate, Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme Facilitator and also supporting people who are in contact with the criminal justice system for a decade and a half.

Luke currently works on designing, implementing and quality assuring interventions for high-risk domestic abuse perpetrators, as well as working with statutory, private and voluntary sector organisations to enhance their responses to domestic abuse.

He has a specific interest in using evidence-informed approaches with those who use abusive behaviours in intimate relationships, helping them discover more respectful, sensitive and rewarding ways to relate to others.

Outside of work, his endeavours are mainly focused on keeping his children and dog as far from mischief as possible.
