Luke has almost two decades experience working in the domestic abuse and VAWG sector. He is an accredited Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA)and Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA). Luke is currently working with LGBT+ Switchboard as a Domestic Abuse Service Manager and previously worked as the Domestic and Sexual Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls Training and Awareness Officer for Brighton & Hove City Council.
He has worked on the 'Boys to Men' research, exploring the impact of domestic abuse on children and young people and authored Respect’s ‘Working with Male Victims Toolkit’ in 2019.
Luke has a legal background, including a Masters in Law, Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights. He continues to lecture on men’s experiences of abuse and is a guest lecturer for Goldsmith’s University on MA Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse.
In his spare time Luke can be found strolling across the South Downs with his Italian greyhounds, Kai and Beau.
