"How you are is as important as what you do"
Jeree Pawl - a pioneer who shaped the field of infant and early childhood mental health in the USA

To create a trauma-informed environment that promotes safety and healing, it is essential for everyone in the organization to have a basic understanding of the causes, impacts, and consequences of emotional trauma. This understanding supports more empathetic and informed responses throughout an organisation.
Developed by Sue Penna, this half-day CPD accredited course offers an insightful introduction to trauma theory, helping delegates understand the underlying reasons behind certain behaviours. It enables delegates to understand that trauma experienced by a child or young person can result in coping strategies that can be destructive to the individual, family and society.
